Once registered, the committe will work with you to complete a business plan and to set up an optional practice session where you can get feedback on your presentation to help hone your skills for the contest.
Fast Pitch Contest
September 22, 9 am - 2 pm
Winners will be announced at 1 pm
Community Education Center. Kewanee, IL
Those selected to participate will be given a presentation time. You will present to the judges. They will determine and announce the winners at a 1:00 p.m. press conference.

What is a Fast Pitch?
Adults who live or own a business in Henry and Stark Counties are invited to share their ideas for:

a new retail or non-retail - manufacturing, technology, agriculture or other businesses

ideas to improve an existing business

ideas for a new service business
Eligible participants will have 10 minutes to “pitch” an idea that would be developed in Henry or Stark Counties. The presentation is made to judges during individual, confidential sessions for a chance to win cash, prizes, advertising, and professional small business consultation to advance their ideas into reality.
